Measuring the flow of the liquid medium is good, how to choose Posted by : admin / Posted on : Aug 10, 2019

Commonly used flow meters for measuring liquid media are electromagnetic, vortex, turbine, and float. The temperature, pressure, medium viscosity, medium composition, medium physical properties, medium chemical properties, minimum flow rate, and accuracy requirements of the liquid medium should be selected.
If the liquid medium is non-corrosive, normal temperature, normal pressure: then you can choose electromagnetic flowmeter, turbine flowmeter. If you only consider the price, choose a turbine flow meter. If the metering is required to accurately select the electromagnetic flowmeter.
If the liquid is corrosive, normal temperature, normal pressure, usually we choose the electromagnetic flowmeter.
The electromagnetic flowmeter can be used to measure non-corrosive liquid medium with a measurement accuracy of 0.5. For corrosive media, PTFE liner is required, and anti-corrosion electrodes such as helium, HC and platinum are used.
Turbine flowmeters are mainly used for the measurement of liquid media with small diameters below DN100. When the minimum flow rate of the liquid medium is small, we can consider using this flow meter to measure.
For the measurement of liquid media in vortex flowmeters, we generally do not use them.
The float flowmeter flowmeter is generally not used in liquid metering. Only when the minimum flow rate of the liquid is small, we will select this flowmeter as the metering.
Regardless of which type of flow meter is used for metering, we need to know the user's requirements for metering, and fully consider the relevant parameters of the medium to reasonably select the flow meter that meets the user's metering requirements.
